Jakarta
Sunda Kalepa is the old port of Jakarta, dating back to the 13th Century. Wood schooners still transport timber, coal and spices to and from Indonesia's many outer islands. The families of the boatmen live across the harbor in the slums of Luar Batang where life is rough.
